We do not collect personal data and we do not use advertising.

Anonymous technical statistics help us improve app quality and reliability.

What we collect

• Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics), such as stack traces and basic device/app version info.
• Anonymous Firebase Analytics events, including:
  • whether the app is opened
  • whether the notification permission prompt was shown
  • whether notification permission was granted or denied
  • whether the background step-counting service auto-started (after device boot, app update, or app open) and whether it succeeded
  • whether the step-counting service failed to enter the foreground after start (rare diagnostic event)
• Standard technical metadata sent by Firebase/Google as part of analytics and crash reporting (for example app version, device model, OS version, and an anonymous installation identifier). We do not collect advertising IDs.

What we do not collect

• No names, emails, phone numbers, or other direct identifiers.
• No advertising identifiers for ad targeting.
• No data sale to third parties.

Why we collect this

• To detect crashes faster and fix bugs.
• To understand whether users enabled notifications and opened the app.

Data minimization

• Data is processed in aggregated/anonymized form where possible.
• We only use analytics required to maintain and improve the app.
